I went to the parks and wildlife department to title my dad's old 9.8hp mercury in my name,gave them the serial # and they told me it was allready titled to a 115 hp 1975 merc1150. Is it possible for two different hp mercs to have the same serial #'s????? Any help would be great.:confused:
