my 19' 1975 runabout came with a 14x17 prop which gave me 5100 rpm and 32 mph. the hole shot and plain speeds where good but this is over the recommended max rpm range by 100 rpm. I had a 15x17 so i put it on to see what it would do. hole shot is about the same, I can keep plain at lower speeds...
