Just bumping this topic. I am not sure if that is allowed, if not I can delete this post. I would really appreciate any information even if it is from someone who has put an alternator on a different type of engine that was originally built for a generator.
I would like to have a charging system run off of my 1966 Evinrude 60HP motor (Model 60653R). This year and model had an optional generator accessory, and my motor already has the mount for the generator. I have searched but I cannot seem to find an OEM or aftermarket generator. If anyone knows...
