What engine size do i need for my project boat? It's a 1978 V-19 Bow Rider, it presently has a seized 1969 85hp Johnson that i will replace. The tag says 145 hp max, should i just try to find a 145 hp Johnson and be done with it? What would be a good mid size engine for this boat? Thanks
I'd like to know what prop to buy if i want to go to a 4 blade. I presently have a 13.25x17. the boat is a 16 foot tri-hull if that helps at all. Thanks
How would i go about getting it up and running again? I took the heads off and one piston has some rust on it but the rest look fine. Guy i got it off said he hasn't used it in a year. Any suggestions?
Does anyone know how much it weighs? i have two of them, one alive and one needing rebuilding so i need to swap them. I need to know the weight so i don't buy a winch that is to small to hold them up safely. Also, should i put a 4 blade prop on it or keep the 3 blade? Thanks!
