    Rectifier-regulator 4 wire, can I use a 5 or 6 wire???

    4 wire regulator grounds through the case 5 wire has a dedicated ground wire 6 wire has a "sense" for voltage that can be connected to the battery (or fuse bus bar) directly or combined with the red charge wire. Otherwise they all will function just fine.

    6207 upper main bearing .. Question..

    I need to replace the upper main bearing on my 86 125hp. The bearing # is a NTN 6207 CT2 C4. It has a plastic bearing cage.. I can find 6207 C4 bearings but they all seem to have a steel bearing cage.. Is it ok to use an upper bearing with the steel bearing cage or should I spend 3x to for a...
