Is there a overhaul kit or any instructions for stopping leakes etc. for the power tilt on an 83 mariner 60hp outboard?
My unit leaks and also drifts down.

I have an 83 mariner 60hp outboard. The shifting lever is real squirrely finding a spot where the engine will crank. Sometimes it's fine but sometimes it only cranks all the way in rerverse. I do push the center release button to take it out of gear. Is the starting lockout in the shift...
