I have a Mercruiser transom assembly with a 3in y exhaust with asymmetrical mount that seems to be hard to find. 4in symmetrical y pipes seem to be everywhere. Has anyone ever used a symmetrical mount on an asymmetrical Mercruiser transom assembly. 3 of the 4 holes look like they would lineup ok...

I need some help. I have a bad bell house and have been trying to find a used one but I don?t know if all alpha one gen one are interchangeable. I know the stern drives have different gearing for different engine size but are the bell houses interchangeable?
