Have a real nice shape 1975 7.5 hp Merc. Water output is starting to drop off. Want to put in new impeller and prop seal. Have never done any O/B work on lower end units. Does anyone have any pointers as to the difficulty or special tools needed for the job. Thanks for the input.
My 1985 Evinrude 70HP (E70TLCOS) has got a Problem. What it did about 6 months ago is it would start great, run strong for 20-30min., (or sometimes all day) and then go into funk mode and start to stall when just starting to come off idle and speed up--OR--it would just die at high speed and go...
