I tried a second Traxxis 80 (also 8-10 years old) and strangely enough, it has the same issue... I have basically new batteries, no fuses in the way, directly connected motor but the very same behavior: After anywhere between 10-30 min going full blast, it kicks in and out every few seconds...
Was there any resolution to this issue ? I happen to have the EXACT same issue. See small clip showing what my Traxxis 80 is doing…
