I have 97 fisher 24' pontoon with a 3.0 merc alpha lx. At wot I have 3000 rpm. I'm not sure what speed I'm getting because the speedo is broken. But by look at the manual my rpm should be 4800 at wot. I would like to get more speed from the boat. I estimate that I'm getting around 20 mph...
I have a '97 3.0 alpha. I don't know the speed I'm getting because the speedometer doesn't work. I just bought the boat and it seems to run fine, but I would like to get a little more speed. The tach shows 3000 rpm at w.o.t. I guess that I'm doing around 20-25 mph. Does that sound normal...
