I have a boat with an MC-1 drive on it. The rear motor mounts on the transom plate of the MC-1 are 15" apart (1978). I have an engine with a post 1983 flywheel housing on it and the motor mounts are 9.5" apart. My problem is the flywheel itself.... the newer flywheels are 14" and the old ones...
