Have two 2003 ficht 225hp motors. Both run fine for about 20 minutes and then will shut down. No alarm or lights. Will not crank. After a wait of 20 minutes they will start up again and run for 15 minutes or so and shut down again. The slower I run the longer they will run before shutting down...

I have a small amount of oil leaking down the shaft after running my 2003 225hp evinrude ficht for a while. Doesn't seem to amount to much but is annoying & messy. the twin motor does not do this. anyone have this problem or any suggestions?:confused:
Hi guys, great forum you have here. I have twin 2003 ficht 225's. one motor cuts out at 3000 rpm's and the check engine light comes on. it runs great at 4000 rpms and below 3000. I have to shut it off and restart when I run at 3000 rpms more than a few seconds. the other motor is fine though...
