25 hp 2012 e tech can anyone describe the procedure to purge water contaminated fuel from the system I've already cleaned it out up to and including the the vapor canister and it's still cutting out after 3 or 4 minutes at WOT how the hell do I get all the water out of this thing?
motor starts & idles fine but has no power when you throttle up under load the charge coil tested bad so I replaced that and since then I've swapped out or changed all ignition components, carb is spotless, fuel pump looks good, checked fuel line and gas tank on another motor and that tests good...
have a 1990 120 hp evinrude, VRO is disconnected I'm told a substitute can be used when replacing the fuel pump the question is which fuel pump should be used? anyone out there who has done this ?
