1 here I a picture of the new Holley 12v choke. It's rotational position is completely OFF, I no choke in this photo.
Can someone please confirm that the white wire is "+" and the shrouded black wire...
Last summer I had the car rebuilt as it was pouring fuel down the throat etc
The rebuilder said the original electric choke was cracked, so he replaced it with one he had on hand - yet the terminals were not the same, he added a 'gender changer' so the wiring would push on correctly.

Just finishing up a gimbal bellows/bearing change with a complete new lower shift Cale assembly.
Can someone confirm the correct routing of the cable as it enters the boat from the transom assembly.
I have it going behind the exhaust y-pipe, and up to the shift plate.

background: Last Summer intermittent running on 7 cylinders after heat soak, then clears up and runs fine after 1min running.
This spring: constant 7 cylinder running - alos very 'laboured' and can't get down to idle, backfires and dies.
In my experience JUST running on 7, should still be able...
