    The label specifically does not say it is. Just says it meets or exceeds. The final say is the nmma website which lists all oils certified, and this is not. That alone is the reason to not use it. Deceptive marketing specifically to lure consumers.

    Triax might be ok oil. The thing is, they mislead with certifications. Their oil is not NMMA certified, that is easy to look up.

    Do you have a galvanic isolator installed? You should. if you have a pro sport charger, you can ground the chassis of the charger. Talk to their tech support, there was a known issue where that charger could contribute to the problem.

    Having the same max rpm for a 19 and 17 pitch prop is a clue, should not be. Try to get a hold of a 15, same diameter, and see if it finally perks it up.

    Common issue on these motors. When I had mine, letting it idle for a few minutes helped, and shutting it off in gear helped.

    What oil should I use?

    Keep it simple. Run Delvac, Delo or Rotella 15w40 in it. if you want, use their semi synthetic blend versions but not even necessary. These 3 are available everywhere and inexpensive.

    I know this market is still crazy, but those both sound high, regardless of condition. As mentioned, those are both ripe to have transom and stringer issues, so check closely. In my area a new interior will run $6-8k.

    Agree. Better plan is off and 2 chargers. If connecting to both, you need a bigger charger.
