    Merc 110=9.8 which cyl is #1and whichis#2 I am putting in a new switch box...it says connect the blue wire to #1 coil cyl and green to#2 coil cyl...how do i know which one is number one and which is number two??? :mad:

    Thanks for the info but still hitting on one cyl?????

    I have a old merc 110--9.8hp i have checked the coils..i replaced the switch box with a new cdi box....it still does the same thing runs a bit then starts hitting on one cyl....could i have gotten a bad switch box from cdi????? Someone mentioned the stater....dont know anything about it...could...
