I recently bought a 2008 Ebbtide 240Ztrak. 8.1 Volvo Penta DP. 230 hours and a Utah boat. Steering wheel is tough to turn, similar to a car without power steering.
I have no reservation replacing the steering cable but really feel it is to young.
No leaks, PS pump is quite and all other aspects...
Replaced impeller in my 8.1 GI-J 3 months ago. It sat until Saturday. It overheated within 5 - 10 minutes of cold start. Do I replace the T Stat? Any help is appreciated
