ok im just asking for information. does any on know of a regular chevy cam that is the same or close to a regular mercruiser cam. the engine is a mercruiser chevy v8 270 hp. i was just wondering if there might be a cam that would interchange with it.

i was just given a 25 foot boat with a mercruiser 270 hp engine it but the engine has sat out and got water in it over the years and is compleatly set up. the heads are shot the engine had some stuff that looks like a small animal lived in it. i dont know a whole lot about boats but i do know...
