I recently purchased a 1996 Four Winns 245 Sundowner, and the guy I bought it from lost a couple of the poles for the canopy. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good place to purchase them. Thank you.
My friend ran his saltwater 115 out of the water for about 5 minutes on accident. He put it down in the water and it seemed to be fine. Are there any concerns?
When I put my 40hp Mariner into gear(I believe it's a 1992 or so), the RPMs go up, but the prop doesn't spin. When in gear(not running), I can turn the prop freely. The lower shaft turns with it, but I don't think anything else is. Does anyone know if the is some sort of shear pin or anything...
Today, while out fishing, my 1992(or so) 40hp Mariner would not go into gear. When placed in forward or reverse, the prop doesn't really turn and engine just goes up in RPMs. Did notice while in drive the prop VERY lightly spins(which is to say it almost doesn't), and it is inconsistent...
