Thanks to all who gave info on my newport. I had it out last Saturday with my wife and we just had great fun. The spinnaker web site was a big help too. I need to get a spinnaker pole and then we'll have even more fun.
on my newport 19 i dont know how to rig the spinnager. the boat has upside down loops on each side at the shrouds but if the wind lays alittle the lines drop. what are the pullies at the bottom of the mast for , and you can't see it but right at the base of the mast in the top of the cabin is...
i have a newport 19 1970 and i would like to find any info i can find, like owners manual, rigging instruction. this is my first sailboat and i could us all the help i can get on rigging it. i love the water and i love to feel the power of the wind, please someone get me started.
