    We filled a new fuel filter with gas before installing. That's what I meant by primed.

    What are VP fuel cells? And are you saying there's paint internally within the fuel delivery system?

    The engine runs fine when primed with gas, but as soon as that's used up, it stalls and a no-start condition ensues. I'm assuming it's the fuel pump assembly, but could use some help. Aside from checking for blockages are there other possible causes or things to consider first? Thank you!
