Anyone out there familiar with the prestolite ignition on 1985 85hp force models. I was checking mine out with the wiring break down in my Clymer manual and noticed a discrency. Not sure if it is on Clymer's end or if my cd module for the #3 cylinder was wired incorrectly from the factory.
I own a 18984 Bayliner Capri with an 85 hp Force outboard. I purchased this boat approx. six years ago. About 4 years ago I completely rebuilt the power head with the exception of going through the fuel system. The #2 cylinder went south. I only put about 2 hours of run time on it after rebuild...
Anyone out there know what the part numbers are for the one-way check valves on the fuel recirculation are for a late model 70 hp force. The marine shops over here have some real inept part guys working behind the counters.
