Hello my 1984 Johnson 2HP runs good and pumps out nice water. I did notice that the exhaust side of the cylinder is hot to touch . My temp gun says 130 degress Fahrenheit at about idle and 170 degrees Fahrenheit about 3/4 engine speed on the exhaust side. It runs good but I never noticed this...

Hello I just picked up this evinrude 9.5hp and my fuel line on my tank doesnt clip in.It almost does.The fuel connector that sticks out of the cowling is just a little bit short.Is there a way to adjust it?? I use this fuel tank and line with my other evinrude outboards. thanks
Hello my Evinrude 9.5hp will not shift into forward.Neutral and reverse work fine. I tried the adjustment for the shift lever next to the flywheel.I believe the problem is in the lower unit.Before i tear into it,any ideas what to look for?? thanks john
