    150 EFI low oil pressure

They didn't, there will be a way to select neutral if it's a Merc control. Post a pic and we can tell you how to do it. Or read the owners manual.

    Warning horn not getting ground

1st, are you sure your boat has the temp and oil switches installed? The audible warning kit was a pretty expensive kit for these engines. It would be added at the boat factory or at the dealer. It wasn't standard. The oil pressure switch didn't screw into the block, it was remote mounted on...

    Merc 250 Verado Fuel increase

I worked for a Chaparral dealer for many years, rigged, delivered and serviced well over a hundred 26' and bigger. This was over 15 years ago so take my observations with that. Things might have changed. I don't want to disparage Chaparral, they make a very good boat for their price point. BUT...

Good, never start engines with the charger in operation. OK, those LEDs are the neutral indicators. The LEDs I was thinking about are on the port/stbd start/stop buttons. What do those LEDs do when you do the all start? I'm guessing the double beeps you get during cranking are due to the...

    Merc 250 Verado Fuel increase

Looking at your voltage readings. When you started testing had you burned off the surface charge on all 3 batts? Please make sure you do this before any testing if there might be a surface charge. The numbers at the batts look normal and tell us that the house battery is getting charged by at...

This isn't how the manual describes sequence of start event. If you are talking about the LEDs on the port and stbd start/stop buttons on the aft face of the control? Are you starting these engines with shore power and batt charger still connected and on? But I have no hands on with this ayatem.

The Dual‑Engine Battery Architecture Diagram I posted comes from the VERADO V8/SEAPRO V8 INSTALLATION MANUAL p/n 90-8M0156798 This should have been in your owners packet that came with the boat. The Start/Stop All Engines I posted comes from the Electronic Remote Control OPERATION MANUAL GEN...

IIRC that was about 4 decades ago. Information like that has been changed many times since then.

    Oil 4 stroke Mercury 115hp

O.P. says this is a new Mercury 115HP Outboard. I would highly recommend using what the owners manual has in it. Application determines specifications. Google the Motor Oil Geek on YouTube. That Lake Speed Jr. know his stuff! But yes the prices blow my mind. I'm back in the business working the...

    Merc 250 Verado Fuel increase

Take a look at 8M0156798 install instructions page pages 40-41 Some builders will use a buss bar for the negatives and that's fine. But the clean power connections must go straight to the correct batteries.

    Oil 4 stroke Mercury 115hp

Since 2014 10w-30 has been recommended for the 115. Make sure to use the Synthetic Blend You can use the 25w-40 if your operating in a hot climate, check your owners manual. Make sure to use the Synthetic Blend

    Merc 250 Verado Fuel increase

Thanks for the info, it helps. Do you have 3 or 4 position key switches? A 4 position will have an accessory position if you turn it counter-clockwise. Have you tried using the start/stop all button that's on the pivot point of the port throttle handle? This should start the stbd engine first...
