    Gear drive help

    My boat is a 18'6 bowrider with a 4.3 GXi (225hp) Volvo SX 1.60 drive. I put a 17p Enertia on it and it will only go 50mph at 4800rpms. I would think that a 17p would rev higher that 4800rpms, most other boats have a 1.66 drive is the lower 1.60 hurting by rpms?
