On my 86 omv stern drive i think i need to adjust linkage, hopen someone can help....
with drive all the way down & hooked to water hose @ idual speed..
when im neutral & give it gas forward u have to push shift way futher than u do when u give it gas n reverse.
it seems that carb throttle...
im wanting toremove the doghouse & side seat.. replace it with one cover that somone can sunbath on, build a bench seat in front of cover...:confused:
anyone have any ideas how or seen this b4?

Today i noticed that the water drain plug on the starboard side, above trim cylinder with trim all way down was leaking little water..
So i figured id remove, drain, clean & reseal..
As soon as i stuck screwdriver & turned, the insert & plug broke & of course...
When i hook up the water hose to lower unit there is no water comeing out of my exhaust, water is coming out the front & the covers on my 87 IO OMC, shoulnt all water come out the exhaust??:confused:
