    Throttle cable adjustment

    I have a 2001 SeaRay 180 with a 3.0 and it seems like I have to push the control lever forward about 3/4 of the way before the throttle moves. Is there an adjustment for that?

    2001 Searay 180 3.0 tune up specs

    Does anyone have tune up specs for a 2001 Searay 180? The info on the flame arrester is different than is whats in the manual I bought. I'm thinking maybe that was replaced at some point by the previous owner and I want to make sure.

    Running on muffs

    Since I'm new to boats, I ask a lot of stupid questions so bear with me. Testing the motor on a garden hose with muffs and was told not to run the motor above about 1500 rpm. Is this true?
