Can anyone tell why this engine seems to foul the top 2 plugs? I replaced them and in just a few hrs the bottom 2 are clean and the top 2 are somewhat oily. It feels like its missing at idle and up to the change from 2 to 4 cyl. I still get about 500-5200 rpm's at wot.

I bought a boat this spring with a 1994 merc 115hp 2 stroke. I had the lower unit oil and water pump impeller changed. I have used the boat a lot this summer but have noticed water coming out the telltale hose very infrequently. I have never had a warning alarm either. Do I need to worry or...
does anyone know if a 1989 85hp force will enterchange with a 1987 on a bayliner bass boat. are there different shaft lengths or wiring or cable differences. thanks
