1988 4.3 OMC with Cobra outdrive - pulled the boat out to get it ready for some lake time, put it on muffs and started her up. The motor was idling nice and smooth for about 10-15 minutes and then it started spraying water out of the carb! Oh no... it doesn't stop there - shut it off...

So, long time reader first time poster. I just purchased a 89 Four Winns 200 with a 5.8 Cobra motor yesterday. Un-winterized and ran it on muffs before purchasing as the weather was decent here in MI (60?). Tonight low temp of 24? only getting up to 35? tomorrow and a low of 21? tomorrow...
