    WATER COMING OUT OF MID UNIT ? 25hp

    Just changed impeller on a1997 25hp.We tested in a tub of water, the pee stream was very good and steady. About six inches above lower unit where you con see the shift rod, water comes out when warmed up,Is this normal or did I do somerhing wrong. Thank You for helping

    shift rod boot leaking? 25 hp

    The rubber boot on the shift rod has water in it, there is a cable tie on the lower part of the boot. Is there suppose to be a cable tie or clamp on the upper part of the boot where the rod goes thru ? Last year the mechanic said he found the boot unattatched so he re attatched it. Lower unit...

    25hp Not Getting Fuel

    I have a 25hp 1996merc outboard , it doesnt seem to be getting any fuel. Ive pulled the fuel line at the carb and am getting plenty of fuel to the carb,remove spark plugs after 50 pulls and dry cylinders, any worn carb parts to look for? Also had the carb cleaned by a good mech, any ideas or...
