    DP-D1 Horsepower rating

    Don, I have a 1994 Mariah Talari 22' with a 7.4GL motor rated at 330 horse with a DP-D1 outdrive. If I rebuild my engine what is the max horsepower this drive will take... should I rebuild to stock or can I step it up some? Gene

    I know I have a DP D1 by the serial number 3868022, is this different or the same as a DP280 or 290...what if any is the difference?
