I own a 1989 Yamaha 9.9hp outboard, model FT 9.9EF. Last year while winterizing it, I let the discharge water empty into a bucket I happen to have handy (I was using a water hose on a cowl for the supply). Afterward I noticed a dark oily (or grease?) film all around the inside of the bucket...
