    converting 1988 johnson 30 hp to pull start

    I have a late 80's to early 90's Johnson 30 hp .my question is what pull start Assembly's will fit this years motor.for example will a pull start assembly from the early 70's work on it.and is there anything else I need to get to complete this conversion or should it just bolt right on.

    1990 30 hp crankshaft swap

    I have a bad 1991 Johnson 30 HP motor will the crankshaft from it fit a 1984 Johnson 35. The cylinder and crankcase look the same but the 30hp crankshaft center bearing is too large for the 35hp crankcase.

    1991 johnson 30 hp timing.

    ok heres my problem i replaced my power pack screws were to long and wasnt alowing timing to advace. replaced the screws with shorter ones now motor wont start without starting fluid and wont idle. how do i adjust the timing? now im replacing the shift linkage under the cowling its not installed...

    early 1990's johnson 30 hp shift linkage

    i just go a early 1990's johnson 30 hp engine i need a diagrame of the shift linkage. does any one have a web site or some close up pics of the shift linkage on the motor. the shifter is located in the middle of the cowling.
