    Re: cant seperate transome plates I'm not trying to find new parts, I have parts for it. I am trying to separate the two transom plates to get it off because it is cracked in three spots; the plate from the outside of the stern, from the one inside the boat that would sit behind the engine...

    engine coupler blew out and took out my trancsoome plate

    blew out coupler,so where the boot gos on it cracked all the way around so tryin to put in new plate
