    Some of my cars have brand-specific service functions built into the scanner, such as rear brake release mode for brake service for BMW's. My Mercedes scanner told me that the passenger floorboard temp sensor was causing the HVAC system to display an error. Silly things, but I live 50 miles away...

    My Metalcraft trailer for a Chaparral 256 SSI weighs 1900, by itself, on a scale. My trailer for a Sea Ray 270 Sundeck weighed within 40 pounds of that.

    I owned a boat with another family. Fantastic success. We were considerate, took pride in the cleanliness and careful usage, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Those of you who had selfish partners may not have the same result.

    I just bolted on a new coupler on my snowmobile trailer. It was $12. Is that an option for you?

    I laid it down today. I would rather not have to do that every time. I am having a fabricator friend look at it and see if he can make it 15 inches shorter without ruining it's functionality.

    I would love to visit there. I dropped some people off in Nantucket in August, and have always loved the area. If I only had to tow the boat, I would have an F150 with a 3.5 Eco Boost. My horse trailer that is specially built for my Clydesdale gets up to 12K plus.

    It says that on the tow capacity charts, but, living in the Colorado Rockies, if you tow 8,000 lbs with a truck rated for 10,000, you will have a moment of clarity where you resolve to never do that again. I like a little headroom.

    Recognize this tower?

    I agree. There is a center section of the back brace that looks to be removable, and may fold down after loosening the front brace. I was hoping to find a video, since holding up the tower while unbolting is uncomfortable.

    Hello, I just bought a 2007 256 SSI with this tower, and I am not sure how it folds down. It sits at 11'9" high on the trailer, and I have 10'7" height allowance in my storage building. I don't recognize the brand or model after extensive searching. Look familiar to anyone?
