    70 hp evinrude Water damage in one cylinder?

    I had a blown head Gasket.The compressions good but what about water damage? The engine runs good and has good power, but sounds loud and different. How would you know if bearings were damaged from water? Is there anything that can be done other than hope it does not throw a rod?

    The 70 hp 97 engine starts and idles fine.
