    Submerged starter

    My 3.0 inboard took on some water and the starter did get submerged with salt water-is there anything recommended that I should do to clean/prevent corrosion or future damage from occuring ? Thanks in advance... Kevin

    Replacing OMC 3.0 with Mercruiser 3.0

    I am looking for a little help regarding the swapping out a 96 OMC 3.0 with a 93 Mercruiser 3.0 I have a local mechanic that will do it for $350, but would really like to do it myself and know my boat a little better.... I am somewhat mechanical but have never replaced a stern drive motor...
