I recently replaced the stator and trigger assembly with new parts from Sierra. Motor is 1981 70 HP 3 cyl. Wires for both parts were severly corroded. Motor did run though before the replacement. The new stator I bought had one extra black wire (ground??). I rechecked the part number...
