    Mercury Force 75hp cut out of gear

    Hello all, I have a 1997 sun tracker running a 2 stroke 75hp force 1996 motor. When I throttle up it trips back to neutral or out of gear, if I slowly throttle up after that it works ok. Is this a built in safety feature or do I need to have engine services? This is my first pontoon btw.
