    can I use the carb and exhaust tube from a 1975 15hp rude,to use on a 1985 9.9 with electronic ign to up the hp,are they the same exept for the ign or what else do I need if anything to achieve the 15 hp from the 9.9,thanks for any info

    how to run 2 graphs from 1 transducer

    i have a lowrance x-75, a friend gave me an eagle magna-3 unit and it has the same plug in ports as the x-75, but i would like to buy a power cable, and then would like to know how i can run both units with the same transducer, or if this is even possible, any help would be appreciated, thanks

    update on 06-07 115hp etec/ stumble-miss

    had motor out all day sat and it ran good at all rpms, the only thing i noticed is that at around 4000 rpm, maybe just a slight 50 to 75 rpm fluctuation on the tach, but is almost unnoticable from the motor, iam thinking maybe was a dirty spark plug problem, but makes you wonder if these motors...

    update on 9.9 evinrude/ no full throttle

    owner tested motor friday and said it ran good all the way up to full speed, but he wants to just reset low speed idle for trolling a little slower, i guess soaking carb overnight and poking all passeges fixed the problem, thanks for all the info and suggestions,

    2006-2007- 115-hp e-tech, miss or stumble

    i have an 07 115-hp e tech, and i have noticed last year and this year there is a slight miss at the higher cruising rpms, yesterday realy noticed it at 4000-rpm, you can see tach fluctuate a couple hundred rpm, replaced fuel filter this year, but the engine has 168hrs on the original plugs...

    update on 9.9-no full throttle

    did cylinder test and motor will stay running on either cyl, one seams to run a little weaker then the other, reset slow speed mix screw and will idle smooth with throttle closed, now going to remove carb and soak overnight in cleaner, any more help would be appreciated,thanks

    latest on this motor problem is, tried new coil no difference,checked spark plug wires,OK, took out for test run and found that i can touch 1 of the spark plugs, they are both hot but lower cylinder is cooler,and found that if i close the choke there is one sweet spot that the motor will run...

    2007 rude E-TECH 115hp

    i bought this motor new, and when i park the boat at shore and trim motor all the way up it will overnight creep down, is this normal, i dont see a leak anywhere thanks,JRD.
