I'm looking to convert to the 'dark side' with the purchase of a sailboat. A few people around here have suggested Catalinas for their reliability/sailability. I'm looking at the ~27'-30' range. Based on my financial limitations, I need a hull that's about 30 years old.

I was in the West Marine store in Baltimore last weekend after the boat show. The lady at the front desk said that the West Marine 3rd Reef line of apparell has been discontinued.
Does anyone know what happened with that line of products, or what they have planned to replace it?
