    Just got a 50hp merc and want to fix it but dont know where the sin number is or the year of it its blue i think 77 or 78 not sure

    Just got a 50hp merc was wondering where i would find the sin number on it thx if anyone could help that would be great trying to find out what year it is and even went out and got a manual for all merc but don't tell me in there where the sin number is.think the sin number is 55464
