I have an older Minn Kota Edge 45 that has worked perfectly until today. I lost power on speeds 3 & 4 but the motor ran find on 1, 2 & 5. A few hours later the motor stopped running all together. When I pulled it out of the water I took the head cap off and tested the wires directly to the motor...
I have a 1968 Mercury 39, 3.9hp outboard I am restoring, I have replaced the water pump but am not getting water flow when in neutral, when I put it in forward I do have good water flow like it should. Any thoughts on why it does not pump in neutral?
