Bought a 140hp powerhead to replace my 140hp late 70's model straight six. well started to switch parts over and the ports for the fuel pumps were not drilled out so I figure it must be a newer model but can't figure out what year.the only numbers I can find on it are on the intake wich are 9737328
This is the serial number off my online six 140 hp every time I try to look it up or order parts they say that number is no good if I knew how to put a pic on here I would show you the serial number tag
does any one know if i can swap the lower unit from my late 70's 80hp merc to my late 70's 140hp merc i have a bent prop shaft on the 140 dont really want to spend a bunch of money replacing when i have the 80 sitting around
Hi, there i just picked this boat up it is closed bow with an outboard the interior is trashed ive been trying to find a picture of the layout of the inside mostly the side panels and rear section if anyone could help ive tried to google it and didnt come up with what i want thank you
