I own 2003 Stratos Pro XL that has a busted aerator pump. I have a new one to replace it with but I cannot seem to be able to remove the old pump. I got the wires unhooked but I cannot seem to get the pump to unthread from the black housing it is attached too. Any tricks anyone can share...

Are there any tricks to replacing the aerator pumps. I worked on it about an hour last night but cannot get the pump to unthread from black housing it is attached to. Any ideas? Thanks
