I have a 2002 5.0l Mercruiser with an alpha one outdrive. Raw water cooled.
New impeller, new thermostat. Runs cool at slow speeds or high speeds, but once I enter a turn at a higher speed it starts to overheat, as if it maybe started sucking air and isn't getting water through it. Any suggestions?
My engine started today, but then stalled and I couldn't get it started again. It starts right up when I pour some gas in the throttle body or when I hook up an outboard tank to it, but it will only run at idle and only when I keep pumping the bulb. If I try to give it more throttle it dies...
