    Is a 25 hp Mariner motor and a 25 Mercury motor parts interchangeable ,Both are 90's motors 94 Mariner and 99 Mercury 25 hp 2 strokes .Will the powerhead from the Mariner fit the Mercury ?

    Mercury 25 hp 1999 2 stroke no top end

    I have a 1999 25 hp Mercury 2 stroke that seems like it has no power on top end .It starts up just fine ,idles fine, turn on the gas and it just seem to bogg down.I cleaned the carb, new plugs ran carb cleaner through it but it just won't pick any speed on top end .Could it be the timing .If it...

    1996 Gamefisher 9.9

    I blew a head gasket on my gamefisher 9.9.I took off the head and their was a small rubber type plug in the water jacket on the top cylinder ,is that suppose to be there ? It seem to me it would make the engine run hotter.Do I leave it alone or pull it out ? What is the proper torque on the head...
