does not rev up under a load as well as normal and when i have it at full trottle it seems bogged down until i pull the choke out about halfway and it takes off

I have a 25 yamaha 3 cylinder. I have read that these motors can be beefed up to a 30 or 35 hp. Is that true? I know they can be modded, with bigger carbs and such. I am really trying to find out if i can just do a couple simple things to make it like a stock 30 or 35..

I need to know if the tiller handle will swap from a 1981 model mercury 25 to a 2002 model merc 25. I am in th process of changing my 2002 motor to a tiller handle and have the opportunity to buy a 1981 motor for really cheap. Will these parts swap over?

i recently took this motor off one boat and installed on my boat. motor ran great on original boat. now i can turn over the motor but am not getting fire on any cylinders. i was maybe thinking something is grounded that shouldnt be. please help.
