We just purchased a 2002 Crestliner 16' pontoon with a 2003 40hp Mercury Bigfoot motor. We're topping out at 9-10 mph with only two passengers. Isn't this a bit slow? We were expecting closer to 18-20mph.
Anybody with a similar pontoon/motor have comparisons?
We've had our 2002 Crestliner pontoon out twice this season. Each time it has begun beeping (3 beeps in a row) at about 5-10 minute intervals. The beeping is coming from the console. Any ideas as to why this might be happening before we decide to trailer it in for repair? It was just...
