hello, got a 2001 vmax 250 thats started to run flat, running out of ideas though as have spent days working on the fuel system but nothings improving it. thinking it could be the TPI?.. but..can anybody tell me where the plug is to plug the engine in to a diagnostic machine, the yamaha dealer...

got a 2001 250 vmax and its developed a fault where it wont rev past 4500revs trimed out and 4000 revs trimed in. Also its got no guts when trying to get the boat on the plane?
Have put all new fuel filters in, had all the float/fuel pump resevoir apart and cleaned and checked, cleaned...
